Project Description:

Since its inception in 2013, ?DJ Sphere Annual Festival? has been hosted every year on the 24th December in Pudimoe, Taung. Dubbed one of the most renowned music festival in Dr RSM District of the North West Province, the festival seeks to fuse together different music genres & highlights the Province?s intersection of cultures whilst creating job opportunities for the local community.

Alignment to Criteria:

To provide a music festival that will be nurtured into a sustainable annual economic event on an annual basis; To host a music festival that will leave a legacy & have an impact in the lives of community through direct & indirect benefits; To generate  atleast 250 direct temporary job opportunities for the youth of Taung.

Impact Description:

One of the hardest working team member is disabled but doesn't let His disability derail Him from achieving the objectives of the festival. Being in the executive position, He has opened our eyes to involving other disabled people in the project and as well as Women and the Youth.

Since the festival's target audience is the youth, our project team is mostly the Youth and Women.
